Job Description
Buys grain directly from farmers for processing or resale. Unloads, loads, stores, cleans, and blends grain for milling and shipment. Weighs incoming trucks and/or trailers prior to unloading and after unloading to determine amount and weight of grain. Inspects samples of grain from incoming trucks for protein and moisture content. Unloads grain from trucks, dumping it into scale hopper. Verifies variety of and inspects grain to determine cleaning requirements. Grades and weighs grain samples, using hand graders and scales, and records results.
