Heads the treasury department of a municipality and oversees its financial operations. Manages the city's finances, investments, debt, and cash flow, including its financial position, payments, and availability of funds to meet the municipality's operations and financial obligations. Safeguards the municipality's financial assets and assures compliance with laws. Develops and implements financial policies and risk management strategies to protect the... city from financial risks and maintain its fiscal health. Forms long-term financial plans and forecasts. Collaborates with municipal departments to prepare and monitor the city's budget and allocate financial resources to meet municipal needs.
