Job Description
Treats and provides medical care to patients in a variety of patient care settings with sufficient frequency to achieve the competencies required by their discipline under the direct supervision of the attending staff. Evaluates patients’ medical, physical, and psychosocial status; provides consultations, physicals, and assessments; and develops and implements treatment plans under the direct supervision of attending physician until competent enough to perform them without direct supervision. Assumes progressive responsibility for patient care activities according to level of education, ability, and experience.
