Job Description
Ensures the cost-effective and environmentally sound and sustainable design and maintenance of energy-using elements in buildings through the design, installation, operation, and monitoring of the mechanical, electrical, and public health systems required for the safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation of modern buildings. Develops and maintains buildings, and their components, to make the most effective use of natural resources and protect public safety, including all equipment and materials involved with heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, public health, fire protection, safety systems, lifts, escalators, facade engineering, and acoustics.
