Job Description:

Facilitates and supports activities in the Program/Project Management Office (PMO) by designing, interpreting, and recommending reports and metrics used in the analysis of key project indicators. Assists in the development, implementation, and oversight of the project process methodology. Implements and maintains tools and reports necessary in the lifecycle of portfolio management. Supports the governance process to ensure project management standards are met. Assists Program/Project Managers in administering work intake and project setup processes, maintaining resource and role information, and publication of reports. Tracks program level risks, issues, scope, and timing changes. Analyzes and graphically represents metrics on portfolios and projects. Coordinates and consolidates status report information from various managers to produce a summary report for management. Assists in conducting internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and keep abreast of PMO industry trends. Participates in assigned projects to recommend and implement system or process enhancements. Assists in the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of all portfolio templates and process workflows in support of the program/project management methodology. Creates and publishes documentation when new features are added or modifications are made to existing tools, workflow, or processes. Coordinates all testing efforts needed in support of tool upgrades. Sets up and maintains reference information in the portfolio management system, such as calendars, organization and portfolio structures, roles, and other configuration elements.
