Analyzes information, using quantitative analyses, affecting financial products or technology of public or private financial institutions that engage in investing, borrowing, lending, saving, or managing risk. Adapts existing and develops new mathematical models, from multiple asset classes to emerging markets trading, and develops new and improved technologies and investment instruments. Assists in identifying financial risk issues and providing solutions. Researches historical market information with the goal of developing algorithmic market making strategies. Assists in building, developing, evaluating, and testing theories and existing strategies that can be developed and incorporated into new and improved strategies, analytical tools, and advanced financial investment instruments.
