Plans, in an assistant role, construction procedures, specifications, work schedules, and material needs and/or supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in field construction projects, such as buildings, dams, highways, pipelines, or other construction projects. Evaluates work performed by subcontractors, including ductwork, wiring, and pipe installations, to ensure conformance with specifications. Studies blueprints, selects materials, and inspects them to ensure conformance with provisions of building code, local ordinance, and specifications. Responsible for assigned segment of project.
