Job Description:

Creates, implements, and directs educational and organizational development programs that are linked directly to the business strategies of the organization. Oversees educational programs that support and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Directs the design, planning, and implementation of organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Typically requires an advanced degree in a related field and at least five years of management experience in education and organizational development. Identifies and evaluates weaknesses within the organization and develops educational resources that specifically target improvement. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Oversees the goal of establishing the human capital of the organization as a critical component in accomplishing business goals. Directs specialty training programs. Assesses organizational needs and develops and implements organizational development reporting processes to identify organizational opportunities and strengths for senior management. Develops and executes an organizational learning process and curriculum. Oversees and manages training coordination and tracking and reporting processes for all training initiatives. Develops, maintains, and monitors the departmental budget. Provides leadership in planning, developing, administering, and evaluating the learning programs of the organization.
