Heads the overall quality, innovation, and creative vision of an organization or client's website. Leads a group of designers in developing and executing unique organization or client website designs, new product designs, e-mail marketing designs, and internal marketing projects. Designs web interfaces using techniques based on usability theory, navigational structure, and concepts related to creating visual flow.

Provides direction and leadership to freelance resources where appropriate. Manages the look and functionality of the website. Integrates business requirements into design strategies, interaction, and visual solutions or designs based on marketing objectives and strategic rationale. Consults with other senior team members to produce design projects, internal marketing campaigns, and identify new innovations and opportunities in the online e-commerce and marketing industry. Directs the collaborative efforts of a group of creative professionals. Supervises, reviews, mentors, and critiques the work of writers and designers, organizing and directing workflow of the team. Advocates needs of the team to other groups. Develops solid client relations, plans leading-edge online strategies, and communicates and justifies concepts. Designs and maintains website and web-based communications using techniques based on usability theory, navigational structure, and concepts related to creating visual flow resulting in a powerful integrated experience.
