Sets appointments and assigns patrons to barbers or cosmetologists to maintain uniform employee schedules.
Adjusts customer complaints and promotes new business by expressing personal interest in efficient service for patrons. Directs sanitary maintenance of shop in compliance with health regulations and requires cleanliness, neatness, and courtesy of employees. Negotiates leases and orders equipment and supplies. Keeps accounts of receipts and expenditures and makes up payroll. Performs services of barber or cosmetologist in addition to management functions.
