Funeral Home Sales Representative:
Sells funeral and burial products and services, such as cremation urns, caskets, embalming, transportation for the dead, and funeral and memorial services, in assigned area or territory. Creates marketing list and turns visitors into customers. Contacts and interacts directly with potential customers to present information and explain available products and services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.

Calculates and quotes prices. Answers all questions concerning burial and funeral products and services, with appropriate referrals where required. Analyzes and determines customers' burial and funeral wishes, recommends products and services best suited for them, and prepares and presents proposals to sell products and services that address those wishes. Prepares forms or agreements, closes transactions, and secures sales. Establishes professional customer relationships. Submits time and expense reports to management. Investigates products and services warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Keeps informed of new products and services and changes that might affect services offered. Keeps informed of company contract procedures and product and service prices.
