Provides information on organization facilities and nursing job opportunities to potential applicants. Interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements. Verifies nursing licensure. Screens and refers qualified applicants to nursing management for follow-up interview. Develops, implements and monitors nursing retention programs. Arranges travel and lodging for selected applicants at organization expense. Performs reference and background checks on applicants. Corresponds with nursing job applicants to notify them of employment consideration. Files and maintains employment records for future references. Projects yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control. Coordinates the internal job posting program for nursing positions. Conducts exit interviews and maintains turnover data.
