Requires a Commercial Pilot's Certificate, with Instructor's Rating, issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. Develops training programs. Trains students in conducting pre-flight checks on aircraft. Establishes goals for students to achieve during flights. Teaches the principles of flight, navigation, weather, and the use of radio navigation equipment. Explains operation of aircraft components, such as rudder, flaps, ailerons, compass, altimeter, and tachometer.
