EAP Counselor:
Responsible for providing EAP services to companies under contract as well as internal employees.

Provides assessment, crisis intervention, short term counseling, and referral of employees. Interfaces with troubled employees. This position may provide services to specific companies under contract or may be dedicated to internal employees. Evaluates data gathered relative to the medical or psychiatric plan of treatment. Assists in the design and implementation of mechanisms for evaluating utilization of service, client satisfaction, supervisor satisfaction and program efficacy. Compiles statistical information for monthly and annual reports. An advanced degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology is typically required with three years of clinical experience. Current licensure in a particular discipline or CEAP is typically preferred. May conduct training sessions for supervisors and employees on a variety of topics including Employee Assistance Programs, chemical dependency/alcoholism and stress management.
