ERP Programmer: Programs, implements, and maintains an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that includes planning, training, testing, implementation, and delivery of any customized modules. Manages the implementation of ERP software modules, interfaces, conversions, or technical infrastructure.
Documents and communicates business requirements, systems design, and implementation plans. Implements and maintains new functionalities in order to adapt ERP software to client needs. Troubleshoots technical and functional problems, bugs, and issues related to implementation and maintenance of the client ERP suite, as well as the related customizations and interfaces. Tests patches and upgrades to determine the impact they have on the application's functionality. Participates in the creation and maintenance of data exchange between ERP and other tools. Writes technical documentation. Interfaces directly with end-users, developers, and other IT staff. Provides technical leadership, training, and mentoring to users and ERP process owners.
