Warehousing Sales Representative: Sells warehousing, such as farm product warehousing, general warehousing, and specialty warehousing, to new or existing customers in assigned area or territory. Creates prospect list and gets new accounts. Calls on and interacts directly with potential, new, and existing customers or clients to present information and explain available warehousing offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Calculates and quotes prices. Answers all questions concerning warehousing, with appropriate referrals where required. Analyzes and determines customers' warehousing needs, recommends warehousing best suited for them, and prepares and presents proposals to sell warehousing that address those needs. Prepares forms or agreements, closes transactions, and secures sales. Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel. Submits time and expense reports to management. Investigates warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Keeps informed of new services/products and changes that might affect services/products offered. Keeps informed of company contract procedures and warehousing prices.
