Parks and retrieves guests' vehicles and provides other valet parking services for guests at a hotel, restaurant, casino, club, or similar establishment.
Greets incoming guests promptly. Receives vehicle from guests and provides guests with vehicle claim check. Records guest names and vehicle information and secures the guests keys for parking. Checks for and notifies guests of pre-existing damage to their vehicles. Parks guest vehicles in designated parking areas on the premises of the establishment. Stores key and ticket in valet booth following established procedures. Retrieves/returns guest vehicles when they depart from the property. Provides wheelchair assistance if necessary. Assists guests with movement of belongings as necessary. Cleans vehicle windows for patrons parking in valet as needed. Reports issues and/or potential problems which may have an impact on the security of guest vehicles, and avoids traffic congestion and delays at entrances to the establishment. Answers guests questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, attractions, etc. Resolves guest problems or complaints within scope of authority, and otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security Department of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged thefts. Responds to emergency situations when requested.
