Aids patients, performing other invasive cardiology procedures, including ventricular remodeling surgery, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), cardioverter defibrillator implant, pacemaker, endomycardial biopsy, peripheral angiography, directional coronary atherectomy (DCA), percutaneous transluminal coronary rotational ablation (PTCRA), and cardioversion. Provides discharge instructions to patient following invasive cardiac procedures. Refers patient to surgeon specializing in cardiac cases when need for further corrective surgery is indicated.
