Increases account base through continuous new business development activity. Prospects new clients continuously through referrals, networking, cold calls, walk-ins, etc. Schedules appointments with new prospects. Creates and delivers proposals from sales leads. Targets and sells to larger, more profitable accounts. Conducts practical research on all potential clients and qualifies them to be prospects. Maintains accurate customer records, including daily sales activities, and submits reports to management on a weekly basis. Demonstrates knowledge of the features and benefits of the organization's products or services. Researches the activities of major competitors and reports that information to management.
