Manufacturing Engineering Technologist:
Assists Manufacturing Engineers in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing processes, using hands-on and application-based engineering knowledge. Solves manufacturing problems using computer hardware and software and using scientific principles and methodology. Plans, organizes, and carries out engineering technology projects under supervision.
Researches, analyzes, and solves economic, technical, organization, and design manufacturing problems. Analyzes and recommends solutions to manufacturing problems of a moral, ethical, and/or legal nature. Analyzes issues of quality assurance and recommends systems, procedures, and techniques to meet quality standards.
