Laundry Manager Hospital:
Manages and
coordinates laundry activities of a hotel, hospital, or other institution.
Develops schedule and directs workers engaged in receiving, marking, washing, and ironing uniforms or linen in laundry to provide quick and efficient service.
Assures finished laundered articles conformance to standards.
Views operation and controls the maintenance and upkeep of machines and equipment.
Analyzes department budget to identify budget needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budgets funds. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations. Studies literature of launderers, cleaners associations, and confers with sale people to obtain information on new or improved work methods and equipment.
