Human Resources Information Systems Supervisor:
Supervises employees engaged in data input and report generation of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Department.
Coordinates interface with internal HR systems, and
oversees duties of HRIS clerks specializing in payroll, timekeeping, attendance, 401(k), benefits, workers' compensation, and OSHA record keeping.
Participates in meetings with users to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement programs to meet special and on-going needs of human resources information.
Gives input for revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Maintains documentation trail of program development and subsequent revisions. Supervises security of confidential personnel records and files. May recommend software or computer equipment and meet with computer manufacturers and software vendors.
