Develops, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs for the orientation and development of staff. Develops, plans, and implements a program of education for all facility personnel, including orientation of new personnel to facility and operational techniques.
Provides training in safe, effective delivery of patient care that assures compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual and State and Federal regulations. Determines the effectiveness of orientation materials and procedures through direct observation and in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Services and Medical Director. Plans, coordinates, and conducts special in-service classes for facility personnel to implement new procedures, policies, equipment, and patient care techniques.
