Sources and identifies qualified IT professionals through a high volume of outbound phone calls and meetings. Conducts phone screens and in person interviews to ensure qualifications meet requirements. Administers skills testing, reference checks, employee verifications, and background investigations as required. Utilizes resources to attract qualified professionals available for opportunities. Generates qualified leads and referrals for other qualified employees. Attends networking events and remains active in the IT community. Creates and places recruitment advertising in channels including the Internet, newspapers, employee communications, and professional publications. Builds and maintains professional relationships with workforce. Presents opportunities to qualified employees and negotiates contract terms. Collaborates with employing customers to evaluate candidates. Prepares employment agreements, extends job offers, arranges for any pre-employment activities such as drug screening, and completes and routes new-hire paperwork.
