Inventory Control Manager: Manages and coordinates activities of employees engaged in inventory control. Maintains inventory as required by production schedules and/or customer orders while minimizing inventory and carrying costs.
Minimizes inventory and carrying cost, replenishing inventory as required by production schedules and/or customer orders. Reviews inventories taken by other workers and compares them with office records, or computes figures from sales, equipment, shipping, production, purchase, or stock records to obtain current theoretical inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count. Investigates or reports reasons for discrepancies. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations.
