Supervises and schedules activities of workers engaged in installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and machinery. Coordinates with other departments, outside vendors, and subcontractors to meet installations schedules and goals.
Plans, assigns, and directs work of Installation Technicians, vehicles, and tools in accordance with project requirements. Reviews and approves all installation-related invoicing to ensure accurate payables. Monitors budget, identifies cost and schedule variances, and develops and implements corrective actions for negative variances. Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing objectives. Organizes and/or conducts training for the installation team to improve skills and efficiency and maintain applicable certifications. Oversees recruiting, hiring, and training of installation staff.
