Advises management on steps to prevent or mitigate environmental issues in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations and with organization goals and objectives. Stays current with governmental compliance requirements and completes all required reports. Manages staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning activities.

Administers personnel functions including recruiting, review and approval of job descriptions and salary classifications, and selection and placement of personnel.
