Manages the reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual gross margin, ending inventory, and related gross margin and inventory reports. Reviews month-end close process, including review of accounting entries, to ensure compliance to relevant policy and accounting rules for the assigned local units and ledgers. Reviews profit and loss and balance sheets and accounts reconciliation. Manages the process of various sales analyses and reporting. Maintains legal entity governance over accounting entries, including accruals, reserves, deferrals, commission, provisions, management fees, transfer pricing, and service fees, and ensures accurate reporting of all issues in accordance with policy.
Participates in financial and management reporting of the organization's investment in private equity and investment banking assets as well as the organization's investment real estate and venture capital businesses. Manages the process of forecasting of gross profit and inventory. Manages the reconciliation process and related management reports. Understands US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and International Finance Reporting Standards. Supervises and manages department associates and/or accountants, including training and enhancing the staff's technical and interpersonal skills.
