Oversees, coordinates, manages, and provides technical expertise for all aspects of an electrical project from conception to completion. Organizes, leads, and monitors the progress of electrical work assignments for the project.
Leads project teams to identify time frames, funding limitations, methods for accomplishing project deliverables, and allotments of available resources to project phases. Schedules activities, manages workloads, and delegates activities, responsibilities, and authorities, ensuring appropriate levels and assignments of accountability are defined and understood. Analyzes weekly labor reports and projects field labor required. Ensures that crews and contractors are coordinated to work efficiently and meet contracting requirements, budgets, forecasts, and schedules. Assists with project scope development and project authorization through completion. Evaluates project progress regularly against established goals, timelines, and objectives. Develops and promotes systems and processes to provide for proper accounting, reporting of project costs, customer billing, scheduling, material procurement, record keeping, documentation, and budgeting. Ensures that public relations and environmental, regulatory, and governmental relations are appropriately addressed. Integrates safety into project plans, establishes safety goals, reinforces safety policies and procedures, supports safety training, and monitors safety metrics. Monitors equipment type, purchases, usage, inspection, maintenance, and servicing. Assists with the development and tracking of key performance metrics.
