Business Intelligence Analyst:
Analyzes historical, current, and predictive views of business operations, most often using data already gathered into a data warehouse or a data mart and occasionally working from operational data. Relies on skills, knowledge, technologies, applications, quality, risks, security issues, and practices used to help the business acquire a better understanding of market behavior and commercial context. Assists in the collection, extraction, integration, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and reporting of business information.
Analyzes business performance, which may include, production, financial, and many other sources of business data for purposes that include business performance management. Teams with program managers to produce timely customer deliverables and define reporting and data requirements. Collaborates with clients to define business rules associated with data input and tracking and to understand and define their business objectives and goals. Designs and leads program strategy based on nature of customer data, processes, and needs. Works with other Business Analysts to define requirements and design, develop, and implement automated solutions and processes across all managed programs. Performs analysis to validate the accuracy of data being reported and provides trend and early-warning analysis. Monitors, tracks, and understands industry trends and the factors that drive them.
