Manages orders primarily for large and repeat customers. Provides service and support to customers, providing information on products, orders in process, and other information. Processes incoming orders and assists with resolving customer service problems.
Receives and processes orders and cancellations. Reviews reports to verify shipments on time and for order accuracy. Advises customers of any changes needed for their orders. Receives and documents customer complaints. Conducts all follow up required to respond to customer needs. Makes credit/debit adjustments for customer accounts and provides research to document adjustments. Assists sales personnel by providing information for accurate customer record maintenance. Provides assistance to customers on technical inquiries by investigating and providing information by contacting appropriate personnel or department. Provides support to sales and marketing through direct contact with customers. Maintains effective communications between sales, marketing, and logistics operations to effectively handle customer inquiries regarding price, product availability, and transportation methods and needs. Provides special reports and documentation to customers as requested. May assist in maintaining a quality showroom with merchandise in excellent condition. May schedule trucks for terminal and warehouse shipments, prioritize customer needs to determine shipment schedules, revise quantities when carriers are unable to carry the requested loads due to weight limitations, and ensure orders are confirmed with all ship locations.
