May analyze financial records and review information such as material assets, income surpluses, liabilities and expenditures to verify net worth or reports on financial status or to carry out accounting and reporting requirements. May estimate future revenues and expenditures to prepare budget. May develop accounting records based on knowledge of interest and discount annuities, sinking funds, amortization valuation of depletable assets, and tax issues. May develop, install, and maintain budgeting systems that provide control of expenditures made to carry out activities, such as advertising and marketing, production and labor, maintenance, or project activities, such as construction of buildings.
