Catering Sales Manager:
Manages the promotion and direction of catering sales activities, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, luncheons, dinners, receptions, dances, anniversary events, business and club meetings, family reunions, holiday parties, and all meetings and food functions, to customers and prospects in the corporate and private market. Identifies and pursues prospective catering customers and secures new business. Maximizes catering revenues through networking, soliciting, grass roots sales, and referrals, attaining or exceeding the annual budget revenue goals and booking goals. Executes outbound sales call requirements to drive awareness, creating and implementing lead generation strategies.

Reviews market analyses and develops sales campaigns. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales. Utilizes contact database to build and maintain prospects, track leads, and accurately report all sales metrics. Establishes a pipeline of short- and long-term sales leads. Maintains business relationships with past, current. and potential clients with personal visits, phone calls, e-mails and written correspondence. Serves as liaison between sales and other departments. Participates in budget preparation. Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volumes and potential sales. Interprets company policy to ensure company objectives are met. Promotes satisfactory customer relations. Keeps informed on company contract procedures and product pricing.
