Directs and manages environmental related processes and activities associated with a project from concept to completion. Organizes, oversees, leads, and monitors the progress of environmental work assignments for the project. Develops and/or adapts environmental policies and coordinates implementation with other groups or departments.
Leads project teams to identify time frames, funding limitations, methods for accomplishing project deliverables, and allotments of available resources to project phases. Assists in the development and management of the environmental budget. Monitors and assures environmental compliance and job specific mitigation and conservation specifications from initial planning stages through completion by applying Federal and State regulations and conducting environmental impact evaluation techniques throughout the project. Identifies environmental constraints affecting the development and selection of project alternatives and works with project staff to resolve these constraints.
