Jewelry Sales Representative:
Sells jewelry, including silverware, plated ware, and costume jewelry, to new or existing customers in assigned area or territory. Creates prospect list and gets new accounts. Contacts and interacts directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of jewelry offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.

Displays jewelry and emphasizes the best saleable features. Explains the differences between products offered. Answer customers' questions about the quality of the jewelry and the demand for certain gems or styles of jewelry over others, with appropriate referrals where required. Calculates and quotes prices. Analyzes and determines customers’ needs and recommends appropriate jewelry to meet those needs. Prepares forms or agreements, closes transactions, and secures sales. Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel. Submits time and expense reports to management. Investigates jewelry or gem warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Keeps informed of new products and product changes that might affect jewelry sales. Keeps informed of company contract procedures and product prices. May serve as the liaison between jewelry manufacturers or wholesalers and jewelry stores and other retailers. May inspect and acquire gems for the manufacturing of jewelry.
