Manages and coordinates the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems in residential or commercial settings.
Participates in the development of PV or solar thermal systems to increase performance and output. Oversees all aspects of installing and maintaining the solar energy system, including planning, permitting, training, and the installation and maintenance of standoffs, racking, solar panels, conduit, wiring, and other system components. Manages and oversees project from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes, and resources. Contributes to the development of the supply chain strategy and system design activities. Assists with estimating and pre- and post-site visits. Performs predictive modeling. Develops cost and performance roadmaps and monitors cost schedule performance. Coordinates schedules and task details utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software. Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project. Manages resources to achieve performance objectives on-time and within budget. Interfaces with customers to define objectives, provide status updates, and prepare for release and deployment. Provides technical, engineering, and business process expertise.
