Leads the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems, equipment, and associated control systems. Develops and optimizes operation and maintenance procedures for all HVAC equipment and associated control systems. Troubleshoots and corrects problems with existing HVAC equipment and associated control systems.

Develops validation documentation and implements validation plans in cooperation with the Validation Supervisor. Develops training programs for equipment operation and preventive maintenance. Manages vendors and consultants to ensure that design is in compliance with standards and that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications and are delivered as required. Provides technical expertise during regulatory audits. Authors, reviews, revises, and/or approves Standard Operating Procedures as required. Provides technical support for utility systems.
