Facilities Engineering Director:
Manages a team of Industrial Engineers to design, improve, and install integrated systems of humans, processes, materials, and equipment. Specifies, predicts, and evaluates the results obtained from such systems. Drives continuous process improvements to ensure all business requirements are met or exceeded.

Leads the Industrial Engineering team and broader cross-functional team to drive overall process design and improvement and solve complex technical, operational, and system integration problems. Defines and manages all elements of plant operating system, including workflows, equipment capacity, staffing levels and methods, IT systems requirements, and technology applications. Applies and trains others in the use of lean operations concepts to optimize the overall system. Designs facilities, including layout of buildings, machines, and equipment, material handling equipment, and storage facilities. Engages and manages various outside contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc. Performs economic justifications on any new capital expenditure projects. Creates and maintains the capital plan. Ensures that plant bottlenecks are understood and are at sufficient capacity to achieve business requirements. Drives process improvement teams to improve business performance.
