Inventory Control Planner: Plans and coordinates distribution of goods to ensure that current inventory levels are within set parameters to meet customer demands. Plans and forecasts for future inventory levels based on sales forecast, current inventory levels, and outstanding purchase orders.
Establishes appropriate inventory levels and determines reorder points. Works with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to ensure optimization of inventory level. Works with shipping department to certify accuracy of shipping records and to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitors variations in forecasts, and performs corrective actions as needed.
