Oversees multifunctional support responsibilities such as, but not limited to, administrative functions, data and telecommunications, facilities management, human resources services, insurance, office services, purchasing, security, mail and messenger services, office clerical and support services, printing, and cafeteria services, etc. Works with organization officials to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, and to coordinate functions. Assists in the creation of short- and long-term strategic plans for the department, identifying resources and opportunities for department growth and improvement. Oversees the administrative managers or supervisors.
Provides support and assistance to other functions and operating units of the organization. Interprets company policy for employees and enforces company policy and practices. Assures the staffing, supervision, and direction of the administrative staff. Assists in the creation and maintenance of administrative personnel business relationships, acting as a representative of the department to internal and external persons, and seeks to cultivate opportunities for business collaboration. Ensures employment compliance with all governmental regulations personnel and records maintenance. Directs budgetary process support staff, oversees the department budget, and prepares the budget for the department or division.
