Products may include but are not limited to small products, light subassemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size. Loads and unloads previously setup machines, such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot-welding machines, riveting machines, milling machines, or broaches, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line. May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor. May be part of a crew and assist skilled operators in performance of skilled function. May work at bench as member of assembly group that processes or assembles one or two specific parts and passes unit to another worker. May be known according to product assembled.
