Cuts animal tissue into strips, using saws. Feeds strips into meat grinders. Opens drums and scoops or dumps contents into kettles, tanks, or machine hopper. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in compounding inert and active ingredients to produce pharmaceutical products in tablet, granule, ampoule, liquid, powder, and ointment form.
