Provides production coordination of all in-house, location, and off-site studio operations. Organizes preproduction meetings to anticipate the scope of incoming work, set design requirements, creative needs, etc. Balances the needs of the creative process with time management while achieving financial goals. Collaborates with business partners and studio services to formulate creative objectives and achieve creative solutions. Directs the operations function in conjunction with business growth, introduction of new operational systems, meeting organizational financial objectives and goals related to safety, quality, and timely delivery of products or services. Conducts make-ready procedures applicable to digital equipment, including registration, digital manipulation of color calibration, ink adjustment, and press adjustment; and performs tasks applicable to printing processes, such as coating, flexo varnish, die cutting, foil stamping, overlamination, and rewinding. Watches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure the press is working properly. Reviews all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment, ensuring satisfactory production and quality to meet or exceed customer expectations before releasing to internal or external customers.
